Get to know me.
I’m a 20-year-old photographer with a passion for cinematic photography. I love capturing moments that feel like they’re straight out of a movie, freezing time and emotion in each shot.
Photography has always been a part of my life, even if my early pictures weren’t the best. It’s the science behind it that excites me – the ability to use a camera to hold onto memories and relive them later.
When I’m not behind the lens, you can find me immersed in music, which often inspires my videography. I love adding the perfect soundtrack to my videos to enhance the cinematic feel. I’m also a graphic designer, so creativity flows through everything I do.
Welcome to The Bella Rose Collective!
Fujifilm XS-20
My go-to digital camera. Small enough to take pretty much anywhere, which is important because I never know when I’m going to see something I want to capture. I also love that Fuji brings a little of its film history into a digital camera.
Wandrd Prvke 31L Backpack
I’ve tried more camera bags than I’d like to admit, and nothing has come close to this one. I genuinely love my Wandrd backpack. It pretty much goes everywhere with me.
Aussie & Kiwi Passports
You never know where the shenanigans might take you. I was born in New Zealand but have lived in Australia most of my life, so I recently added an Aussie passport to the collection (I still prefer my Kiwi one tho, it looks way cooler).
DJI 360
For capturing ALL of the adventure and not missing a thing. Ziplining across a waterfall? Didn’t miss a single view.
Canon AF35M
My everyday camera. It’s such a great little point-and-shoot for capturing the everyday moments I want to remember.
Traveller’s Journal
I ask strangers I meet along the way to write me a piece of life advice and their favourite song. Honestly, one of the best souvenirs you can bring home from your travels.
35mm Film
There’s always a roll or two (or five) floating around in my bag. My favourites are Kodak Portra 800 and Ultramax 400 for colour, and Ilford HP5 Plus 400 for black and white.
Lip Balm
The classic essential. My favourite is Burt's Bees Wild Cherry
DJI Pocket 3
My little vlog camera for capturing all the shenanigans and tomfoolery with my friends. Small enough to come pretty much everywhere with me.
Photobooth Film Strip
You won’t catch me walking past a photobooth. They can take my last $8. Bonus points if it’s a proper old analogue booth with real film processing.
Lightning McQueen
A gift from my sister. Lightning now comes on all my adventures with me. He's always hiding in some random bag pocket.
Long Weekend Pouch
For cables, SD cards, batteries and basically every tiny thing that would otherwise disappear into the bottom of my bag. It keeps the chaos contained.
Canon AE-1 Program
I’m not picking favourites...but this is definitely my favourite camera. Released in 1981, the Canon AE-1 Program is a little piece of film camera history.
Film always. I actually love the imperfections and the grain you get with film.
Absolutely.
Kodak Portra 800, Ultramax 400 and Ilford HP5 400.
*Unexpected error – proceed to next question*
Life advice from strangers in my traveller’s journal, and I love collecting stuff for my junk journal.
Very. Especially if there’s an adventure involved.
I mean… You really don’t have to ask me twice.
You had me at travel.
What a strangely specific question. Yes.
