There are moments that make me stop. A certain light, a place seen differently, something ordinary that suddenly feels worth keeping.
That’s what I love about photography. With film especially, the light from that exact moment physically hits the film and leaves an image behind. I love that idea, that a fraction of a second can be captured and frozen in a way you can come back to later.
I shoot both film and digital, but for me it’s always about the same thing: noticing something, capturing it and keeping a little piece of that moment.
The Bella Rose Collective is a collection of those moments. Places I’ve been, things I’ve noticed and time I wanted to hold onto a bit longer.
Hey, I’m Bella. I’m a photographer from Australia with a camera usually somewhere within reach and a habit of taking far too many photos wherever I go.
I shoot both digital and 35mm film, and I love travel, finding new places and capturing the little things I notice along the way. The Bella Rose Collective is where I bring all of that together and share the moments I’ve collected.
If you know me, you know I love to travel. My goal is to see as much of the world as I can and capture it through my camera along the way.
Here are a few postcards from my recent adventures.
